The Marquee tool is the most basic of selection tools and often the one most useful. This tool is used to draw selections based on geometric shapes. Specifically, the marquee tool allows you to draw rectangular and elliptical selections. To form the selection, simply click and drag the mouse.
1. Rectangular Marquee tool:
The rectangular marquee tool is use to select the image as rectangular shape.
- · open an image
- · select rectangular marquee tool
- · drag over the image for select some part
- · after selection use move tool
2. Elliptical marquee tool:
The elliptical marquee tool is use to select the image as circle shape.
- · open an image
- · press right click at marquee tool and choose elliptical marquee
- · drag over the image to select some part of image
- · use move tool to move the selected area
3. Single row marquee tool:
It is use to select the single line horizontally.
- · Press right mouse at marquee tool and select the single row marquee tool
- · click over the image and selection will be display
4. Single column marquee tool:
It is use to select the image any part by single line vertically.
- · press right mouse at marquee tool and select the single column marquee tool
- · click over the image and selection will be display.
